The Emerald High School Winter Percussion
The Emerald High School Winter Percussion ensemble is made up of 9th-11th graders at Emerald High School! We perform at competitions and community events. Please see below for details.
Winter percussion fits within 4 months. It runs from December - April.
There are three major commitments for marching band:
Must be enrolled in a band class (see band options above)
Mandatory weekday/weekend rehearsals, and mandatory competitions/performances.
All of these items are tied to the student's grade in class.

Front Ensemble
This section consists of marimba, vibes, xylophone, bells, and auxiliary percussion instruments.
Rhythm section instruments, such as synth bass guitar, are added as needed.

Tuesdays (3:40PM) 4PM-6PM
Thursdays 3PM-6PM
